The first concert of the 2021 Chautauqua Lake Pops season, Queen Flash is now in the Pops history book.  It was Saturday night, July 24 after concert dates had to be rescheduled.  One being due to monsoon weather conditions plus our beloved Pops fans had to endure a quiet 2020 because of the arrival of Covid to our shores so needless to say the Pops crowd was more than ready to see friends and family and to dance under the stars, once more.

When Dan Dalpra took to the floating stage to greet everyone and to introduce the band the audience stood and applauded his dedicated efforts, for all of us, in finally bringing a 2021 season to the floating stage despite the unwarranted obstacles.

I wish to thank everyone for coming out on Saturday evening to show your support and Passion for the Pops. This includes the food vendors and the dedicated and much appreciated volunteers.  They all undertand the importance of a Pops program to any community and so should everyone.

Make the hashtag, #popslove go viral because it .. says it all.
