Throughout the Pops years in Bemus Point I captured many photos of the floating stage, at night, and this one remains one of my favorites. The stage lights reflecting onto the water creating a watercolor effect in cobalt blue.
Purple Haze
Through the many years the floating stage and the surrounding water have taken on many colors depending on the mood of the song each tribute band or singer performed in Bemus Point which provided added ambiance to each summer concert. The Pops feel in Bemus Point was unique and special every weekend. Those of us who experienced those weekends can relate to these photos. Each one has a story though the saying, pictures tell a thousand words, truly applies with this collection of pictorial memories. On a personal note, I would say that you never know what you truly had .. until it is gone from the landscape.
